Hale, UK (PRWEB) November 19, 2008 -- Peppermint Digital has been appointed by celebrity chef Simon Rimmer to develop a brand new website for his Hale-based restaurant, Earle.
The Earle website will be built to the highest specification, featuring information about the restaurant, as well as Simon Rimmer himself. Users of the site will be able to browse image galleries, an events calendar and menus, as well as sign up for exclusive events and offers.
Earle opened in October 2006 and has since been named Top Celebrity Restaurant in the Observer Food Monthly. Rimmer - resident chef on BBC 2's Something For The Weekend - also owns Greens restaurant in Didsbury.
"The internet is often the first place people go for information about eating out, so I felt it was high time that Earle was dragged into the digital age," Earle said. "As well as creative flair in website design, Peppermint Digital impressed me with their sharp eye for business development. I'm confident the team will deliver an online presence that reflects the distinctive feel and quality of Earle."
Peppermint Digital, the sister company to Peppermint PR, was launched in April 2008. The company specialises in website design and development, digital PR, on-line marketing and search engine optimisation.
Head of digital services, Graham Robinson, joined from one of the world's largest advertising agencies, JWT. "Peppermint Digital is relishing the opportunity to work with a chef as widely fêted as Simon Rimmer," Robinson said. "We're really looking forward to meeting the challenge of creating a five-star site, which will offer users a real insight into one of Cheshire's most popular restaurants."
Simon Rimmer also appeared on BBC One's To Buy or Not to Buy, and Channel Five's Breaking into Tesco. He is a regular on UKTV Food.
