Winter Park Design Firm Tackles Biggest Design Project Yet

Winter Park, CO (PRWEB) November 14, 2008 -- O2 Creative, based in Winter Park, recently wrapped up their design work for The Grand Lake Brewing Company's van and excursion. The brewery owner won the wrap materials & printing in a drawing at last year's Great American Beer Fest by Summit Graphics. The Grand Lake Brewing Company, already a client of O2 Creative, decided to go with a proven design firm for the design, which allowed the designers at O2 Creative to work on their biggest vehicle wrap yet.

The design on the vehicle uses a mountain scene as the background, with an emphasis on the beer bottles in the foreground, the familiar logo on the front passenger doors and the hood, and the "It's all downstream from here" tagline sweeping across the back quarter of the vehicles. On the back doors of the vehicles, the website and phone number are listed in a yellow ribbon that sweeps the width of the back of the vehicle in an easy-to-read typeface.

"We chose to have O2 Creative create the design because we are comfortable with their work and have been working with them for some time now," explains Richard Wood, owner of The Grand Lake Brewing Company. "O2 Creative designs the labels for our beer and our packaging. It just made sense to use them for the vehicle wrap," adds Richard.

According to the American Trucking Association, 91% of people notice words and pictures when displayed on trucks. By putting the wrap on both the company van and excursion, Grand Lake Brewing Company is able to further magnify their marketing impact and stretch their marketing dollars. Statistics from the same source reveal that metro trucks are seen by 14 million sets of eyes each year. Vehicle wrap is gaining in popularity, even though we haven't seen much of it in Grand County, and often provides more marketing exposure than with one billboard.
   
"People are just blown away with the design," says Karen Wood, co-owner of Grand Lake Brewing Company. "The design is noticeable, beautiful, well-done, and the design just 'pops'. We are extremely pleased with the outcome," continues Karen.

Richard adds, "We like to work with O2 Creative because we're comfortable with their art, good turn-around time, and they are very professional." When driving rounds, Richard notes that often a store will only want to shelve two varieties, "but then, I'll pull out a third variety and they make room on the shelf for it because they know the packaging will sell the beer."

The brewing company receives a lot of positive comments on their labels and packaging, and now, they are receiving the same praise for the vehicle wraps.
