Parkson Corporation Holds Successful Official Inauguration of Regional Office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Parkson Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Axel Johnson Inc., successfully inaugurated in October its new regional office to support its growing business in the Middle East and North Africa.

Ft. Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) November 14, 2008 -- Parkson Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Axel Johnson Inc., successfully inaugurated in October its new regional office to support its growing business in the Middle East and North Africa.

The new office, located in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, was officially inaugurated with a cocktail and dinner event at a prestigious hotel in Dubai. Contractors, engineers and consultants were amongst the 50 guests present, some having flown over from surrounding countries. Zain Mahmood, President and CEO of Parkson, traveled from the United States to welcome all guests to the event that took place on October 9, 2008. Sean DSilva, International Vice President of Parkson, and Tony Collins, General Manager of Parkson ME, introduced Parkson Corporation's international strategy and product portfolio to the select group of people.

Parkson's past success in this growing region has prompted the decision to open a permanent office in Dubai complete with sales, applications engineering, and field service support capabilities. "With the traffic congestion and travel delays that are everyday life in Dubai it was very rewarding to see such excellent support from the local water and wastewater industry professionals attending our inauguration dinner. We had a truly multicultural blend of people representing most of the Middle East plus some from India, the USA and Europe. In addition, Parkson also announced the receipt of its first purchase order since the establishment of its new office in July of this year. In August 2008, Parkson received an order from Saudi ARAMCO in Dharhan, Kingdom Saudi Arabia, where Parkson's solutions will be treating domestic wastewater.

Parkson Middle East will be responsible for all countries in the Middle East and Northern Africa, offering a wide range of superior, cost-effective components and systems for water and wastewater treatment. Some of Parkson's most successful products, in screenings, biological treatment, secondary and tertiary treatments and biosolids reduction/minimization, will be marketed through this office.
