Alltel Ice Den to Host Ice Skating Exhibition for Jr National and U.S. National Competitors
Alltel Ice Den to host 2009 US Figure Skating Pacific Coast Sectionals. 200 top figure skaters to attend with hopes of advancing to US Figure Skating Championships in Cleveland, OH or the US Junior Figure Skating Championships in Lake Placid, NY.
Scottsdale, AZ (Vocus/PRWEB ) November 13, 2008 -- The Alltel Ice Den, home training center for the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes hockey team, will host the U.S. Figure Skating Pacific Coast Sectional Championships this week at the north Scottsdale facility. Over 200 top figure skaters from all over the western United States have eared their way to this prestigious event with hopes of earning a chance to complete at the 2009 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Cleveland, OH or the U.S. Junior Figure Skating Championships in Lake Placid, NY. The event this week is presented by the Ice Den's Coyotes Skating Club of Arizona and runs November 13-16. It is free to the public.

WHAT: Ice Skating Exhibition (1 full program from each competitor)

WHY: The athletes will be competing November 13-16, 2008 in Scottsdale for a chance at the 2009 U.S. Championships in January, 2009 in Cleveland, Ohio or the 2009 U.S. Junior Championships in December, 2008 in Lake Placid, NY.

U.S. Figure Skating:
