Heeding the call from its customers to create an eco-friendly product that would still display vibrant messages while being Earth-friendly, a banner stand manufacturing company creates its newest product line.

Some may call it being trendy, others would say it's the direction the United States is headed. Being Earth-friendly is what's hot. And while many companies continue to mass produce aluminum and plastic banner stands, a Cleveland-based business decided to "go green." That is, with new green banner stands.

Post-Up Stand Inc. unveiled its latest product -- the environmentally friendly banner stand -- to the acclaim of customers who requested that such a large product be more eco-friendly. Made of natural bamboo as opposed to traditional aluminum or plastic, the new banner stands are a hit with new and existing customers.

"We wanted to create the bamboo banner stands because it's a popular market right now," said Alon Weiner, co-owner of Post-Up Stand. "Many of our clients who purchase multiple banner stands had requested that the materials be more natural. It's important to them, and it's important to the environment. It just seemed like the right direction to go in."

The green banner stands are available in two sizes, and include a roll-up banner of synthetic fiber and a travel tote.

Post-Up Stand's other products -- from trade show displays to scrolling banners - may soon follow suit in the eco-friendly arena. There are plans for more Earth-friendly printing materials and ink in the future.
