Call For Nominations: Opportunity Knocks 2nd Annual Best Nonprofits To Work For Awards
Opportunity Knocks announces that it is accepting nominations for the 2nd Annual Peoples Choice Best Nonprofit to Work for Awards. Winners will be selected by Opportunity Knocks from nominations held November 11 through December 31, 2008 based on employee submissions of a brief essay on why they consider their organization a great place to work.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) November 16, 2008 -- Opportunity Knocks announces that it is accepting nominations for the 2nd Annual Peoples Choice Best Nonprofit to Work for Awards. Winners will be selected by Opportunity Knocks from nominations held November 11 through December 31, 2008 based on employee submissions of a brief essay on why they consider their organization a great place to work.
Nominators can take into consideration factors that are important to them such as, quality of work/life balance, their organizations' adherence to its mission, comradery of employees, unique benefits, training programs and career paths.
A total of fifteen (15) winners will be awarded based on three categories of operating budget size.
Winners will be published in February 2009.
Past winners include: ArtsWest, Brain Injury Association of Georgia, Marin Ventures, Our House, Inc., Silicon Valley Independent Living Center, Family Violence Law Center, The Great Lakes Colleges Association GLCA, Health Education Council, Jewish Publication Society, Junior Achievement of the Bay Area, Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia, Camp Boggy Creek, City Year, Metro Atlanta YMCA, and The New Teacher Project.
