Rock Island, IL (PRWEB) November 14, 2008
http://www.daytrtotter.com, the fastest growing music discovery site, known for its innovative sessions and free downloads of the hottest independent artists, today teams up with bands Apollo Sunshine and Dead Confederate to present their 2008 10-date club tour. The collaboration includes a stop at The Independent in San Francisco this Sunday, November 16 which will be audio and video recorded for exclusive distribution on http://www.WolfgangsVault.com
This intention of this agreement is to provide Apollo Sunshine and Dead Confederate the opportunity for exposure to a new, larger and highly engaged audience of music fans on both Daytrotter.com and WolfgangsVault.com and in turn, the bands are bringing Daytrotter into the clubs with them.
Daytrotter's Sean Moeller: "The first time that I saw Apollo Sunshine play was in 2004, as a World Series game involving their beloved Boston Red Sox was playing on a television set in front of them. The show was in a lobby area at Knox College in Galesburg, Ill., and they were warming the room for The Decemberists. They had their Christmas lights draped over and around every piece of equipment they owned and even with being royally preoccupied with the score of the game, they put on one of the most electrifying live sets I've ever seen. Dead Confederate bring that same kind of unbridled passion to the stage and it's the essence of what we try to capture in amber every day here at the Daytrotter studio. We're pleased as punch to make it easier on these two great bands getting out to the peoples of the USA."
Marc Allan, Manager of Apollo Sunshine said: "It is incredibly exciting to be able to work closely with Daytrotter and Dead Confederate to bring new audiences to the upcoming tour. It is even more exciting to know that Daytrotter, which has played such an important role over the past few years introducing music fans to the best and brightest artists has chosen to supprt Apollo Sunshine and Dead Confederate on this tour."
Dawson Morris, Manager for Dead Confederate says: "I just feel fortunate... Not only that Dead Confederate is out there playing these great shows with Apollo Sunshine, but that Daytrotter was kind enough to come along and offer to support what I view as simply wonderful music from two great bands. We're happy to be a part of it."
