Foam Kit Solutions, Inc has launched a new website designed to help the do it yourself individual with spray foam insulation

Massillon, OH (PRWEB) November 18, 2008 -- Foam Kit Solutions, Inc has launched a new website designed to help the do it yourself individual with spray foam insulation. Foam Kit Solutions offers a full range of do it yourself premium products designed to stop air infiltration and reduce heating and cooling costs for all types of structures.

"Foam Kit Solutions can be the solution to all spray foam insulation needs. There is simply no reason that anyone doing construction or a remodel should not use spray foam insulation over normal traditional "outdated" fiberglass insulation," said Todd Hensel, owner of Foam Kit Solutions. "Both government and building industry studies have shown that homes or businesses that aren't properly insulated are basically wasting up to 40 percent of every heating and cooling dollar. And older homes and structures are especially likely to be energy inefficient. The building industry also is predicting that by the year 2010 it will be mandated that all building structures must use Spray Foam. Today, most builders are introducing the use of spray foam insulation to their customers instead of traditional insulation and the result; very satisfied customers. Utilizing our spray foam insulation products will save considerable money down the road, and they are safe and easy to apply."

Closed Cell Spray foam insulation expands to 3-5 times its dispensed volume, offers an R-value of 6-7 per inch thick while filling all the gaps and cracks that can form in any structure. It eliminates drafts and increases comfort by producing an air and moisture barrier, thus reducing heating and cooling costs. It also helps block mold, mildew and other airborne irritants and acts as a significant damper on noise pollution from outside the home or structure. Fiberglass insulation can trap dry air, but if that air moves or becomes wet, the thermal resistance will drop significantly. That's not the case with spray foam, which will adhere to nearly any surface with typically just one application.

"Those with allergies or asthma will find that spray foam insulation will make a world of difference in the air quality in any home or structure," Hensel said. "And what some people don't realize is that making a home or business more energy efficient may qualify for a tax credit. Spray foam insulation can also help a home attain an Energy Star rating and is far better for the environment than standard fiberglass insulation. It even provides additional support to the structure. It's insulation for the 21st century."
