The fifty top scoring companies receive the award and then are placed in categories by company size which include small (10 - 50 employees); medium (51 - 100 employees); large (101 - 1,000 employees); and extra large (1,001 or more employees).

Only one hundred companies in the state of Pennsylvania are awarded the "Best Places to Work in PA" designation. The winning companies are split into two groups: 50 medium-sized companies (25-250 employees) and 50 large-sized companies (251 or more). The selection process is largely based on the responses to a survey which measures the level of an employee's satisfaction with his or her employer and work environment. With over 400 employees, Worth & Company was placed in the large company category for both "Best Places to Work" competitions.
