Manic Attack - Brave New Comedy Web Series
ManicAttack.com is a brand new online comedy network. They have four web series in production with release dates for new episodes over the next few months. Manic Attack is different from other sites, in that it listens to the desires of it's audience. So, if Mikey likes it...they'll shoot it.
(PRWEB) November 17, 2008 -- Since their Halloween launch, the folks at Manic Attack have been busy shooting the remainder of their season 1 webisodes for ManicTV. The heroes in the Manic Attack Universe are an unlikely bunch of misfits. The kind of folks that you could see rounding out an adult version of the Bad News Bears on a softball field somewhere in Jersey. The Usual Suspects include an ex-Marine ballerina who is hell bent on revolutionizing the dance world, a chain smoking mother of two in search of a sugar daddy, an eco-conscious couple that is on the verge of destroying their marriage due to their love of our planet, and finally an insurance salesman/mortgage broker who wants to be the worlds fastest speed walker. Love them or live in fear of them, they are the Manic Attack family.
With the completion of their first season, and the schedule set, Manic Attack is looking to get the audience involved. In addition to the web series, they have shot multiple pilots that the audience must vote on to stay alive. In the Forum section of the site, the fans can speak their mind, the good, the bad and the ugly. If they hate it, it will go. If they love it, it will stay. If they want to see something completely new, and enough fans agree, they will shoot it. It's a place for the people.
Manic Attack was started by childhood friends Tommy Walsh and Christopher Burke. Their first collaboration was on Shooting Johnson Roebling, the critically acclaimed dark-comedy feature, which premiered at last years Hoboken International Film Festival. Since then, all focus has been on Manic Attack, and their relentless pursuit of high-quality production value backed up by great acting. This site is nothing but fun.
