QFX Software Releases KeyScrambler 2.3; The World's Best Anti-Keylogging Solution Now Protects Windows Credentials

KeyScrambler® Premium 2.3 adds features to protect users' login credentials in Windows workstation, Active Directory Domain, and Windows Vista's User Account Control prompts (UAC). The enhancement helps safeguard confidential information from keyloggers at the workplace.

Ormond Beach, FL (PRWEB) November 19, 2008 -- QFX Software Corporation today released KeyScrambler® Premium 2.3, which adds new features for safeguarding confidential information from keyloggers at the workplace. The upgraded version is immediately available at the company's website: www.qfxsoftware.com.

The major enhancement of KeyScrambler Premium 2.3 is the protection of users' login credentials in Windows workstation, Active Directory Domain, and Windows Vista's User Account Control prompts (UAC). The new feature helps prevent cyber criminals from gaining access to critical systems. It also reduces risks that a single breached computer will allow an intruder to compromise other workstations and the company network.

"One of the common ways for hackers to gain access to confidential and valuable business information is to compromise a less critical, less guarded workstation and install a keylogger to capture credentials that will enable them to access more heavily secured parts of the business infrastructure," says Qian Z. Wang, CEO of QFX Software. "KeyScrambler Premium 2.3 helps defeat this attack vector and prevent a small breach from turning into a costly and embarrassing security event."

KeyScrambler Premium 2.3 covers more than 100 applications in a wide array of categories, from business-oriented finance, tax, accounting, and office programs to more general applications such as popular browsers, email and IM/VoIP clients, and password managers.

KeyScrambler's design makes it capable of defeating keyloggers both known and unknown. KeyScrambler encrypts users' keystrokes at the keyboard driver level in the kernel and decrypts the keystrokes at the destination application, giving keyloggers only random keys - "scrambled" and indecipherable - to record. KeyScrambler is compatible with existing infrastructures and security programs and is therefore as easy for large corporations and organizations to deploy as for small and medium-sized enterprises to install. The unobtrusive interface lets users see KeyScrambler encrypting live and gives them peace of mind. Since its initial launch in August 2006, KeyScrambler has grown a customer base of more than 660,000 active users in 194 countries and territories.
