Martinson-Nicholls' New Heated Work Mats Replace Space Heaters in Work Areas

Martinson-Nicholls, Inc. a leader in heated matting products recognized the need for an economic, green heat for today's industrial work force. Using just 270 watts of energy, the Heated Work Mat produces a surface temperature of approximately 100 degrees in most industrial environments.

Cleveland, OH (PRWEB) November 18, 2008 -- Recognizing a national trend to ban space heaters from the work place, Martinson-Nicholls is offering a new Heated Work Mat to provide safe, economical heat on work floor surfaces. Unlike the average space heater that uses over 1000 watts of energy, the Heated Work Mat uses only 270 watts. It also places the radiant heat where it does the most good--on the cold floors.

The Heated Work Mat may be used underfoot, or between work areas to provide supplemental heat for multiple workers. According to company president Dan Ruminski, "This economical floor mat's radiant heat will make for a more comfortable, productive environment during these cold winter months."

Made of rubber, this heated anti-slip mat is suitable for foot traffic, and comes with a G.F.C.I. attached to the cord, and may be ordered with an optional timer. It is not suitable for any type of vehicle traffic. Measuring 36 inches by 39 inches, the Heated Work Mat is ideal for slab concrete floors, basement or garage workshops, warehouses, or similar industrial settings. At 14 lbs., it is light enough to move, and puts the radiant heat at the coldest part of any plant, the floor. All electronic components are UL listed.
