40-page Zune Guide released as free download from Zunerama. The Zune Guide contains tips for Zune users, reviews of Zune accessories, and Zune articles from the past year. Zunerama is a leading independent Zune enthusiast site.

Bellingham, WA (PRWEB) November 19, 2008 -- The 2009 Zune Guide has been released by Zunerama.com, a leading Zune enthusiast site. The first of its kind, the Zune Guide contains over forty pages of Zune tips, reviews of Zune accessories, gift-giving ideas, recaps of the past year, and articles about the latest Zune players and software.

A free download in Adobe PDF format, the Zune Guide is viewable on PC or Mac, and includes convenient hyperlinks to a variety of Zune resources on the web. Accessory reviews and buyer recommendations in the Guide include Zune stereo docks, cases, AV packs, armbands, and vinyl skins.

"We're pleased to make this 2009 Zune Guide available freely to Zune owners, and as a gift-giving guide for the holiday season," said Harvey Chute, the owner and lead editor of Zunerama. "The selection of Zune accessories has expanded considerably in the past year. We hope that this Guide is useful for Zune owners to browse and in making buying decisions."

Zunerama publishes both photo and video reviews of Zune accessories. Zunerama's detailed reviews give Zune owners the information they need to find accessories that are right for them and for their budget. Selected products earn the site's "Recommended by Zunerama" rating. The 2009 Zune Guide highlights recommended products in its Gift Ideas for Her, Gift Ideas for Him, and Gift Ideas for Kids lists.

The 2009 Zune Guide also offers helpful Zune tips throughout the document. Other features include articles on the past year of Zune developments, Zune ID cards, battery life, little-known button combinations, integrating Zune Social into Facebook, Zune wallpaper, comparisons with iPod flash and hard-drive players, and tips on creating an essential set of personal playlists.

"2008 was a pivotal year for Zune, with solid player updates, attractive pricing, and the innovative software of Zune 3.0," commented Chute. "And that excitement has been reflected in our site - which now has over 13 million pageviews, and 100,000 posts in our Zune user forums."

In commemoration of the first annual Zune Guide, Zunerama is giving away a 16GB flash Zune player. The drawing is eligible to anyone who downloads the Guide.

The 2009 Zune Guide is available as a free download from http://www.zunerama.com/download.

Zunerama is an independent website for Zune enthusiasts. The site was established in July 2006 - almost four months before the release of the first Zune player. Zunerama's mission is to provide a helpful, knowledgeable gathering place for Zune owners and for all those interested in Zune.

Zunerama provides active and well-moderated discussion boards, as well as Zune news and commentary through its blog. The site also conducts photo and video reviews of Zune players and accessories. Zunerama's articles have been referenced by major media outlets, including the Hollywood Reporter, Seattle Times, and the Houston Chronicle.

Harvey Chute, the founder and lead editor of Zunerama, is also the technical editor and co-author of Wiley's Zune for Dummies book. He received Microsoft's 2007 and 2008 MVP award (Most Valuable Professional) for Digital Media.
