Secure-eBook Makes Publishing and Selling eBooks on the Internet Easy for Any Authors and Publishers

Novisoft has released a major update to Secure-eBook. For almost three years now, Secure-eBook has made selling eBooks on the Web easy for authors and publishers. The new update improves Secure-eBook by allowing eBooks to be sold without having to be converted in a secured format.

Laval, Quebec (PRWEB) November 20, 2008 -- Before the latest update, Secure-eBook (http://www.secure-ebook.com) has been focussing on the protection of PDF files sold as eBooks with its eBook Activation process. With the eBook Activation protection method, every eBooks in PDF format have to be packaged into a protected file format.

Secure-eBook also manages all the eBooks' purchase process for its clients -- authors and publishers only have a few easy configurations to achieve in order to quickly be ready to sell their eBooks. Through all the additions made since its release, Secure-eBook now works with many industry leaders such as PayPal, 2CheckOut, Authorize.net, 1ShoppingCart, ClickBank, etc.

While our clients were growing in numbers, we received many requests to be able to take advantage of the Secure-eBook automated purchase process without having to change the eBook format
"While our clients were growing in numbers, we received many requests to be able to take advantage of the Secure-eBook automated purchase process without having to change the eBook format," said Alain Thibault, Novisoft co-owner.

To answer its clients' requests, Secure-eBook now offers Secured Download as an alternative to eBook Activation. Instead of protecting an eBook itself, this new method protects the link used to download the eBook after a purchase. eBooks authors and publishers can now benefit from the Secure-eBook automated purchase process, fully managed by Secure-eBook, without having to package their eBooks into a secured format.

"Authors and publishers can now publish their eBooks in any format with Secure-eBook," said Alain Thibault.

Secure-eBook works perfectly with many 3rd party systems. But some of them, such as PayPal Shopping Cart and ClickBank, do not offer a way to protect the link used by a client to download the eBook they just have purchased. By using Secure-eBook with these 3rd party systems, authors and publishers can reduce the chances of having people illegally download their eBooks.

"Authors and publishers selling eBooks online should consider Secure-eBook as a minimum requirement to publish their eBooks successfully on the Internet," said Alain Thibault. "Anyone using systems such as PayPal Shopping Cart or ClickBank should consider Secure-eBook as a requirement to deliver eBooks to their customers."

The new Secured Download method is now available with Secure-eBook. To get more information about this new method for selling eBooks, visit the official page on the Secure-eBook Web site at http://www.secure-ebook.com/ebook_security_download.jsp.
