Aastra Expands Consultant and Analyst Relations Programs in North America
Aastra announced today that it is enhancing its analyst and consultant outreach programs, and has appointed Tracy Venters as Director of Consultant and Analyst Relations for North America.
Frisco, TX (PRWEB) November 20, 2008 -- Aastra announced today that it is enhancing its analyst and consultant outreach programs. The company held its first North American Analyst Event in October and has appointed Ms. Tracy Venters as Director of Consultant and Analyst Relations for North America. The appointment of a dedicated resource for this role comes in response to an increasing number of inquiries from analysts and consultants, as Aastra continues its expansion both in North America and abroad. Earlier this year, Aastra announced that it had completed the acquisition of Ericsson's Enterprise Communications business unit. Aastra has also recently introduced new products for the SMB (Small and Medium Business) market in North America, and continues to introduce new features and capabilities for Clearspan® and MX-ONE providing IP telephony and Unified Communications for very large, campus size, enterprises in North America.
Ms. Venters will be managing all analyst relations for North America, as well as developing a formal Consultant Liaison Program. The Consultant Liaison Program will address the needs of consultants requiring a deeper level of technical product information, as well as access to sales and support resources within Aastra.
Ms. Venters brings with her a wealth of experience in IP Communications. Her career has included both engineering and marketing roles, and she has been a frequent speaker and authored many articles and papers on IP telephony and related subjects.
"As Aastra continues to increase its presence and market position within North America, we have created this position to meet the growing needs of the consultant and analyst communities", said Mr. Tim Whittington, Senior Vice President, Aastra USA. "Tracy brings with her both the technical knowledge and communications experience necessary to fulfill this role; we are happy to have her here."
