The series was filmed and produced by Bunim/Murray Productions, the creators of The Real World and other popular reality shows.
Life on Tour documents the real-life adventure of six high school students on one incredible journey to Europe. Life on Tour™ follows the students on their educational tour from their hometowns to Lucerne, Paris, Florence and Rome as they ascend the Swiss Alps, celebrate Bastille Day under the Eiffel Tower, and dance the night away at a discotheque, among many other memorable moments.
The Life on Tour students represent a diverse mix of personalities and backgrounds from across the United States -- from Girard, Kansas, to Compton, California. In a globally competitive world, the series showcases the benefits of international student travel as each individual experiences personal growth in their own way.
Life on Tour is a 10-part series of roughly five-minute episodes that will premiere November 20 & 21, 2008, at eftours.com/LifeOnTour. Episodes will debut weekly until December 18, 2008 on several prominent websites. Also, the cast members will participate in online discussions during the series on EF's fan page on Facebook.
