"Small house …small budget …small business" can bring any entrepreneur down -- but not Stephanie Rach-Wilson, founder of IAGmedia, Inc and creator of "Into the Great Outdoors" an animated and live action adventure that excites and readies children and families for explorations beyond the backyard. The Company is committed to helping educate children two through six on the wonders of nature and the environment in an effort to help establish future environmental stewards of nature.

Music, mishap, and humor guide the storyline focusing on Chipper, a young squirrel venturing into nature for the first time. Chipper meets a variety of creatures that help instill a love of the environment in him. The lessons are playfully delivered, providing parents with a positive tool to help reinforce respect and mindfulness for the environment and others.

Flashback a year ago: with story in hand and animation underway, Mrs. Rach-Wilson realized a voice was needed to bring the project and main character to life. While grappling with voice-over talent costs, a little voice gave her the answer. "Mom, I can play Chipper," Avery, her 9-year-old daughter said. "I've read the script a bazillion times and I know all the songs," she added.

Into the studio they went; side-by-side, teaching each other patience and perseverance. Word-for-word, song-to-song, mother and daughter brought to life the story of an overly curious suburban squirrel taking his first adventure into the great outdoors.

"I grew up with 'get out and play' parents so I naturally bring that to my own family," says Ms. Rach-Wilson. "Research shows there is a great need for kids to be outside; both emotionally and physically from issues with ADD, Vitamin D deficiency and obesity in young children our goal is to build an intuitive mindset at the youngest age when kids are establishing character."

Into the Great Outdoors is available as a DVD activity set including 52-page book and bonus CD and a stand-alone 40-minute DVD. Additionally, the company extends the storyline with books that take Chipper on individual adventures with animals he meets.

IAGmedia promotes "less packaging, more fun" in all products. All books are manufactured using efficient sizing for only "trim" paper waste, FSC certified paper and soy-based ink. Over 90% of the company's products are made-in-USA. To learn more visit www.intothegreatoutdoors.com, www.iagmedia.net or call 415-927-2398.
