StartupNation deems Zosimos Botanicals one of the Top 10 Greenest Home-Based Businesses of 2008. The 2nd Annual StartupNation Home-Based 100 contest ranked businesses in ten categories. The Greenest category applied to home-based businesses having a positive environmental and/or social impact.

The green efforts include the fact that the recipes are free of synthetic chemicals, parabens or other toxins. In her Contestants Case to Be Considered a Winner, Stein proved how her company continually strives to meet the criteria as Greenest Home-Based Biz of 2008. Committed to social and environmental responsibility, Zosimos Botanicals has sponsored an Intern from Tanzania through Liberty's Promise Opportunities Plus program.
