Wanted: 3 Engaged Women Who Will Make Social Media History While Stimulating The Economy - Are you Bride 2.0?

What started as the spark of an idea at an Internet marketing conference has become the "Pay It Forward" movement of the social media and wedding industries. The search for Bride 2.0 has begun. Can Web 2.0 and social networking stimulate a struggling economy, make 3 brides social media super stars and prove that by simply asking for help the internet and wedding related communities will step up and lend a helping hand?

(PRWEB) November 22, 2008 -- What started as the spark of an idea at an Internet marketing conference has become the 'Pay It Forward" movement of the social media and wedding industries.

The search for Bride 2.0 has begun. Can Web 2.0 and social networking stimulate a struggling economy, make 3 brides social media super stars and prove that by simply asking for help the internet and wedding related communities will step up and lend a helping hand?

That's the vision of Ciara Daykin who announced her goal to find 3 brides in 30 days. She's looking for extraordinary brides committed to making their wedding a true dream wedding, who will share the experience with the world via Web 2.0 and take it a step further by supporting third world countries with a new non profit organization.

Daykin says "I'm looking for 3 brides to step up and commit to sharing their joy with the world via social networking. In turn, their journey will be an inspiration for generations to come shared via blogs, internet marketing and social media. The cherry on the top is that this entire experiment will stimulate our global economy and support a new charitable organization called Planet Plans Wedding Foundation. The online community following this experiment can step up and give gifts to Bride 2.0 via kiva.org."

Additionally Daykin is convinced that by simply asking for help the internet community, wedding vendors and other interested parties will step up to help make this happen and a social shift will occur all with the support to Web 2.0 and social networking. The economic stimulation comes from showcasing Web 2.0 products that business owners can use as well as a multitude of wedding products that may not have been showcased before. Daykin's hope is that this project will increase business for all those promoted in the project.

Daykin has set a goal for the project to find all 3 brides in 30 days. While there is an investment the wedding couples must make, Daykin feels it will be worth it. "We need to know that the brides to be are serious about having an over the top wedding that will inspire people around the world."

Brides, who are willing to invest 100,000 dollars to have their dream wedding, stimulate the economy and share their experience with the world via Web 2.0 and social media channels should apply immediately at www.planetplanswedding.com

www.planetplanswedding.com is the brainchild of Ciara Daykin of Firefly Occasions Inc. Daykin's vision is to bring about world change and economic stimulation while creating dream weddings of a lifetime with the help of the ultimate Bride 2.0. Contributions gifts will be donated to Planet Plans Wedding Foundation which will be launched once the Bride 2.0 candidates are chosen.
