Dr. Victoria Gould is a Licensed Professional Counselor and an adjunct professor. She has previously provided clinical services at a residential treatment center, community mental health centers, a foster care agency and schools.

Throughout her counseling experience Dr. Gould has fostered a specialization in child and teenage mental health. Her approach considers developmental issues, family relationships and individual personality styles as she develops a nurturing therapy experience that meets the unique needs of the individual or family. In some cases her therapy has focused on educating families or providing supportive techniques for use in the home. Some children and teenagers especially benefit from the safe non-judgmental environment of individual therapy.

Dr. Gould's experience teaching hearing impaired children has given her an appreciation for unique family issues that exist, as well as social and emotional developmental difficulties.

In practice, Dr. Gould bases her approaches on philosophies associated with Relational Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Dr. Gould holds a B.A. from Denison University, an M.A. from Columbia University, Teachers College, and a Psy.D. from University of Denver.
