Las Vegas Interactive Marketing Association 2008 Creative Media Award Winners
"3rd Annual Interactive Award Ceremony" held at Wasted Space, inside Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas"
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) November 22, 2008 -- Interactive marketing professionals came together at the Las Vegas Interactive Marketing Association (LVIMA) 2008 Creative Media Award Ceremony. At the November 20 event at Wasted Space inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the winners were announced with trophies distributed.

LVIMA's 250 local interactive marketing professionals submitted their entries and voted in six different categories. Over 50 entries were submitted and evaluated using an online voting tool distributed to members. Categories and winners of the 2008 awards were as follows: "Interactive Ad Units" - tie between R&R Partners Advertising Agency and SpadeClub, "Interactive Campaigns" - R&R Partners Advertising Agency, "Viral Advertising / Video" - Zappos.com, "In-Game/Viral Game" - IdeaWork Studios, Inc., "Company Web Site" - Mandalay Bay's Shark Reef, and "Campaign (Mini) Web Site" - IdeaWork Studios, Inc.
"This year was a huge turnout compared to prior years." LVIMA's chairman Shawn Rorick said. "Attend any of our events and you can tell how the Vegas interactive marketing community is growing. The creative work submitted this year is outstanding and really shows significant talent within our valley."
When asked about the LVIMA awards ceremony, Stephany Lobban of R&R Partners Advertising said, "We're very excited about the awards this year. The turnout is great and the competition has become more intense. The quality of work here keeps us all motivated to stay involved."
LVIMA encourages networking amongst marketers as well as education from agencies and vendors while discussing best practices and learning about emerging media. It was also announced at the award ceremony that membership will continue to be free for local Las Vegas interactive marketing professionals with events underwritten largely by sponsors within the industry.
