Frazier Park, CA (PRWEB) November 24, 2008
In response to continued economic difficulties nationwide, popular grant database website GrantGopher.com has announced the launch of its monthly grant awards program. Awards are given in three categories: individual/family grants, business grants including start-ups, and nonprofit grants. Anyone located within the United States, with a funding need in one of those three categories is eligible to apply. The first awards will be distributed on December 15th, 2008, just in time for the holidays.
"We are extremely excited about our monthly award program," said Rachel Unell, CEO and developer of GrantGopher.com. "With funding becoming increasingly restricted due to the current economy, we felt that this was not only important, but the right thing to do. We hope that people visit the site, utilize all the free information and know that a company out there cares about them and wants to help."
Interested parties can create a free account at http://www.grantgopher.com and use the "Request A Grant" form. The request is posted within minutes and the site user community can vote for the grant requests they feel are most deserving. The free account includes a personal home page, profile, grant writing and fundraising information as well as free access to the grant database. Also available is free information about programs across the nation open to individuals, such as first time homebuyer programs, home repair grants and energy/weatherization assistance.
