iLasting.com announces the release of a unique new feature for its online memorials service. The new feature called Comment Wall, allows memorial site visitors to leave a comment along with an icon. Comment icons are then randomly displayed on a wall for other visitors to see.

San Francisco (PRWEB) November 25, 2008 -- iLasting.com, a leading online memorials web service, today announced the release of its newest feature called Comment Wall. This unique new feature allows memorial site visitors to leave comments along with an icon which are then randomly placed on the Comment Wall. The resulting visual creates a unique way for visitors to interact and contribute to the online memorial.

"In talking to many of our customers, we found many of them wanted a way to recreate the same type of sentiment that goes along with leaving flowers, stones, candles, and other small mementos at a person's grave site, " said Anthony Doctolero, founder of iLasting. "The Comment Wall allows us to make that feature request a reality for our online memorials and we are excited to introduce it to our users."

"The Comment Wall represents a unique feature that further differentiates our online memorials amongst our competitors," said Truman Guan, lead developer at iLasting. "We listen very closely to our users and this new feature we've developed helps ease the grieving process."

The Comment Wall feature provides site visitors with another way to contribute to the online memorials . To start, users simply create a new comment and then choose an icon to accompany their message. When finished, users click submit and can then view their comment on the wall. Since there are multiple icons to choose from, each Comment Wall will be unique after it is filled.

"To ensure we had the proper look and feel for the Comment Wall, our entire team went to a local cemetery to get a deeper sense of what we were trying to recreate," said Naomi Okubo, senior designer at iLasting. "We wanted to maintain a reverent tone with all of the visual elements and we feel we've accomplished that goal."
