Tokyo, Japan (PRWEB) November 26, 2008
Mr. Tokiwara brings with him 24 years experience in equities trading to the dealing floor of Commercial First.
This announcement follows a recent reshuffle in the management at Commercial First, which has recently seen the retirement of two of it's founding members Dr. Haruko Kamoto and Mr. David Yashiri who both sat on the company's Board of Directors, while at the same time acting as Vice President of Equity Trading and Chief Financial Officer respectively.
In his final statements as a board member, Dr. Yashiri was quoted as saying, "The appointment of Takeshi Tokiwara is a reflection of the company's ongoing commitment to the equities markets and his expertise will help us to maintain our position as a leader in the field."
Mr Takeshi Tokiwara graduated the University of Tokyo in 1981 and completed his master's degree at the Harvard school of business in 1985. He has enjoyed a career working in the equity departments of two of the United States largest trading institutions, Goldman Sachs until 1992 and as a department head at Lehman Brothers until 1999. Mr. Tokiwara returned to Japan after 18 years and after a 2 year period working in private equity he then accepted a position as an analyst with Commercial First. After receiving the appointment he was quoted as saying, "I am excited to take this position in the company. Commercial First, with it's reputation, and world class capabilities represents an outstanding platform to deliver innovation and strength within the equities markets."
Commercial First Trading Corporation would like to thank the two outgoing Board members Dr. Haruko Kamoto and Mr. David Yashiri for their outstanding contribution over the years.
