Radio Ink magazine's Forecast '09 event, set for December 2, 2008 in New York, will present a special one-on-one conversation between Talk Radio Network host Monica Crowley and Mort Zuckerman, owner and publisher of the New York Daily News and influential news magazine U.S. News & World Report.

Zuckerman, one of America's most successful businessmen, co-founded and serves as Chairman of Boston Properties and has substantial real estate holdings in Boston, New York, Washington, and San Francisco. He's owned U.S. News & World Report since 1984, putting his distinctive stamp on the venerable news weekly, and has owned the New York Daily News since 1993.

Zuckerman has become known for his detailed analysis and tough commentary in the pages of U.S. News & World Report, and he'll be sure to have a unique and no-holds-barred take on the economy, the results of the November elections, and much more.

Monica Crowley's energetic and original approach to conservative talk has made her a rising star. She began her radio career as a frequent guest with Batchelor & Alexander on WABC/New York, arriving with impressive political credentials, including four years as a foreign policy consultant for former President Nixon. She got her own show on WABC in 2002, and The Monica Crowley Show is now nationally syndicated via Talk Radio Network.

Crowley is also a respected author and political commentator who has been heard from in such diverse forums as Newsweek, The Wall Street Journal, New Yorker, and MSNBC. She's been a news analyst on Fox News Channel since its founding in 1996 and also serves as a regular panelist on PBS and NBC's The McLaughlin Group.

Crowley's approach to the issues is fearless, informed, and direct, and she'll be bringing that approach to what's sure to be a fascinating and wide-ranging conversation with the equally opinionated Zuckerman.
