Martinsburg, West Virginia (Vocus/PRWEB ) November 25, 2008 -- Rhonda Louk Walls, owner of Walls Nursery in Kearneysville, has published a book called Natural Tips & Tricks for the Garden and Everyday Life. The book provides common-sense advice to help the reader succeed in their gardening endeavors. Walls' love of nature began on her family's farm in Mill Creek, West Virginia, where they planted all the food they ate and sold. "Many of the tips included in the book have been passed down through the generations," she stated. "I love nature and always dreamed of opening my own nursery." This dream came true on May 14, 2005 when she and her husband Jerry opened the doors of Walls Nursery.
When asked why she decided to write this book, Walls stated, "This book has been years in the making. I wanted to teach people how to treat their gardens naturally, without harmful chemicals. I also wanted to give less experienced gardeners the confidence to try their hand at gardening." The book includes information about plant selection, maintenance in your garden, dealing with bugs, and natural garden treatments, as well as treating other household and health issues naturally.
Rhonda and Jerry Walls pride themselves on providing customers with hearty plants, healthy trees and useful tips for properly caring for their purchases. They also give back to the community through a variety of educational and outreach programs, such as Blooming for Education and the annual First Responders Appreciation Day. Walls Nursery was recipient of The Journal's 2007 Readers Choice "Best of the Best" award in the Nursery/Greenhouse category. The nursery is located 4272 Charles Town Road (Route 9) in Kearneysville, West Virginia.
