Remote Backup Systems Announces Stimulus Program

The economy is slowing at precisely the best time for new Online Backup companies to come into the market. RBS' Stimulus Package helps companies start online backup services by dropping prices for the duration of the economic crisis.

Memphis, TN (PRWEB) November 28, 2008 -- The public's need for online backup services is expanding very rapidly right now. Various storage industry analysts, including IDC, ESG, Frost & Sullivan and others, predicted this upsurge in the market, and its continued growth.

However, while the demand for online backup services is gaining momentum, the rest of the economy is slowing down. It is a frustrating convergence of circumstances that makes it more difficult to start an online backup business at exactly the best time to do so.

Remote Backup Systems, the leader in providing software for emerging online backup companies, has announced it is cutting prices by as much as 50% in what it calls its Remote Backup Stimulus Package.

"We will maintain our new lower prices at least until the economy recovers," explained Rob Cosgrove, President, "This price cut makes our solution the most affordable in the industry. It will make our service providers the most profitable."

Cosgrove explained that by reducing prices, RBS hopes to lower the barrier for smaller companies who want to enter the online backup market at this critical growth stage in the industry, and to improve the growth of its current customers. The company has also recently announced several new products, and upgrades to its current products.

"The online backup industry is expanding very rapidly right now. Larger companies offer a one-size-fits-all solution that often doesn't fit the small business side of the market," continued Cosgrove, "We want to make it easier for our service providers and emerging small companies to service the higher-profit small businesses that need a custom solution."

With its Remote Backup Stimulus Package, RBS hopes to guide more businesses profitably through these temporary rough economic times to make the most of the mushrooming market for online backup services.
