Security Solutions International (SSI) will continue to distribute its flagship publication, The Counter Terrorist Magazine, at a series of security and emergency response events across the U.S. and around the globe in the next year. As its international reputation and presence grows, The Counter Terrorist has been invited to more and more international homeland security events. One notable event is The Counter Terror Expo (http://www.counterterrorexpo.com/ctm) which will be held in London, England from February 10-11, 2009. The magazine, America's premier informational journal for Homeland Security professionals, is designed to provide counter terror officers and homeland security professionals with the relevant technical information they need to combat terrorism at home and abroad.

SSI, publisher of The Counter Terrorist, has been working closely with The Counter Terror Expo to ensure that this resource for recent and highly relevant counter terror information is readily available to all of its attendees. Copies of the upcoming February/March 2009 issue will be available at the event. SSI is looking forward to being a key representative from the United States at this global forum and providing US agencies and companies an opportunity to be involved through The Counter Terrorist.

The event will bring together 50 of the world's leading experts in the field of counter terrorism in a high-level conference addressing the significant terrorist threat continuing to face the global community. Comprising keynote plenary sessions, strategic briefings, case studies and panel discussions, conference and its associated workshops will be held against a back-drop of one of the biggest counter terror exhibitions of its kind in the world today. Headline issues to be addressed include critical collaboration, partnerships in a crisis, specific and emerging threats, international threat management and the capability gap.

"A joint approach to countering the threat from terrorism, is one the principal themes at the forthcoming Counter Terror Expo. Recent history has shown explicitly that the global battle to beat the terrorist menace, can only be won by effective intelligence sharing amongst all the relevant services at national and international level," comments Event Director, Peter Jones. "Key speakers at Counter Terror Expo will seek to share best practice experience and drive this important and timely message home."

Distribution at The Counter Terror Expo is one of many national security and first responder events that The Counter Terrorist has been a part of this year. Visit the publication's website to see other events where the magazine will be available (http://www.TheCounterTerroristMag.com).

As SSI President Henry Morgenstern explains, "The Counter Terrorist magazine is the result of our considerable experience in corporate and security training, stretching back almost 20 years. SSI professionals are bringing together the expertise of effective training, the know-how of world renowned experts and cutting-edge technology in a print publication devoted entirely to arming our First Responders with the information they need to combat terrorism at home and abroad. We're tremendously excited for the opportunity to distribute this valuable resource through the platform of these important events."

Concluding only its first year of publication, The Counter Terrorist continues to build its subscriber base and support network at a rate that exceeds all expectation. With global experts contributing to the content on topics ranging from terrorism in e-commerce, to emergency communications, to extremist recruitment, each issue of The Counter Terrorist provides a variety of counter terror information to help equip those protecting our freedom.

Are You a Potential Victim of Lawfare?
SSI's non-profit organization, "Protecting the Homeland", is our newest initiative in championing democratic processes. In the dynamic arena for counteracting Islamic extremism masked under the exploitation of civil liberties, many have fallen victim to Lawfare--the formula is predictable. So-called anti-terrorist organizations, aligned with Islamic extremism, blatantly abuse the laws, freedoms and loopholes of the most liberal nation on earth to help finance and direct the world's most violent international terrorism cells.

The "Protecting the Homeland" organization charter embodies two main objectives: ceaseless dedication in counter-acting Islamic radicals who repeatedly attempt to threaten our constitutional freedoms, and channeling funds to educate US First Responders through sponsorship of training programs in the USA and Israel.
