VA Specialty Lender Offers 100% Mortgage Refinancing

New VA loan guidelines may help VA-eligible borrowers weather financial storm.

Salt Lake City, Utah (PRWEB) December 3, 2008 -- iFreedom Direct Corporation, a Salt Lake based mortgage company, is now offering 100% VA refinance "cash outs" to VA-eligible borrowers who qualify. A cash-out refinance occurs when the new mortgage amount is more than the former mortgage amount, resulting in cash out of the equity. Homeowners may use the cash to consolidate debt, make home improvements, or pay for other expenses.

The Veterans' Benefits Improvement Act of 2008, created in part to improve benefits to VA home loans, was signed into law October 10, 2008. As a result, up to 100% of appraised home value within program limits can now be refinanced, an improvement over the previous 90%. A home valued at $250,000 refinanced under the new guidelines can amount to $25,000 difference in available cash refinanced under the VA Loan Guaranty.

Helping our nation's veterans with mortgages is what we do best. Veterans have some of the most flexible financial options in the current economy
Since the new VA loan benefits were signed into law, many VA-eligible borrowers have been searching for a lender implementing the new guidelines. iFreedom Direct is one of the first national lenders that specializes in government programs to update its processes and allow VA-eligible borrowers to take advantage of the enhanced VA home loan benefit.

A VA home loan is a mortgage funded by an approved lender, like iFreedom Direct, and guaranteed by the Federal Government. iFreedom Direct is a direct lender with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs approval to originate and underwrite VA home loans. Headquartered in Utah, iFreedom Direct funds VA home loans in almost every U.S. state. iFreedom Direct's professionals have specialized in government-backed mortgage lending since 1985.

iFreedom Direct's President, Richard Bailey, has been with the company since its inception. "Helping our nation's veterans with mortgages is what we do best. Veterans have some of the most flexible financial options in the current economy," says Bailey. He goes on to say, "One way we can say thanks is to quickly implement 100% VA refinancing to assure that our borrowers get the most from their VA benefits."

The new refinancing offer from iFreedom Direct comes at a crucial time for many eligible veterans. By increasing the loan-to-value ratio under the VA Home Loan Guaranty Program, some VA-eligible borrowers feeling the economic crunch may now get some relief. The VA cash out refinance is available to VA-eligible borrowers who qualify regardless of the type of loan they currently have.
