The brainchild of Managing Director Kristy Weston, Sablier (sah-blee-yay) is a boutique retailer offering Australia's well-endowed women a unique range of glamorous European apparel, from elegant lingerie, everyday underwear and sleepwear to fitted shirts, sportswear and swimwear, all designed exclusively for full-busted women.

Sablier is an exciting new online store with a unique range of elegant European lingerie, sleepwear and apparel for discerning, well-endowed women. Launching on 1st December 2008, initially as a Perth-based e-boutique, Sablier has been created by Managing Director Kristy Weston to give full-busted Australian women the opportunity to experience premier European brands for the first time.

Pronounced sah-blee-yay, which means 'hourglass' in French, Sablier will satisfy a not-so-niche market - curvaceous connoisseurs like Kristy who are frustrated by the lack of choice and quality for the 41% of Australian women who are a D-cup or above.

"For too long, curvaceous women have been forced to wear unattractive, functional underwear and clothing, rather than the fabulous apparel they deserve," Kristy explained. "As a 32 FF, it seemed impossible to find lingerie, swimwear and clothing in Australia that fitted me properly."

"That's the motivation behind Sablier. I want to redefine the shopping experience for well-endowed women by making it completely hassle-free. We're providing a fabulous range direct from Europe - exclusive brands that make curvaceous women look and feel gorgeous. In fact, in many cases Sablier will be the sole Australian supplier of these prestigious brands," Kristy said.

Growing up in Perth, Kristy reluctantly accepted that the beautiful lingerie and clothing she coveted were simply not available in her size. She had been measured as a 34E. However, while living in London, she discovered a whole new world of sensual and glamorous lingerie, swimwear and clothing brands designed exclusively for well-endowed women. Moreover, she was correctly fitted as a 32FF.

Research suggests that up to 80% of women are wearing the wrong bra size, resulting in a host of problems, including prematurely sagging breasts, back, breast and arm pain, rashes and headaches. What's more, a correctly fitting bra can instantly make a woman appear slimmer.
Now back in Australia and launching Sablier's online store as a prelude to the company's first retail outlet in Perth, Kristy believes the concept behind Sablier is one that will appeal to fashion-conscious Australian women who have a fuller figure.

"Our goal is for all ladies blessed with an hourglass figure to discover the confidence that comes from wearing stylish, sensual and sophisticated lingerie and apparel that provides the perfect fit and support. We're here for curvaceous connoisseurs who are looking for a beautiful, luxurious product with a real sense of individuality - something that becomes a part of your style and not simply an undergarment to hide away," Kristy added.

Sablier's new website, http://www.sablier.com.au, showcases an impressive range of underwear for D to K cup women, from sensual sets to everyday essentials. And while Sablier's trademark is an exquisite range of elegant lingerie, the boutique also carries a selection of equally glamorous swimwear, sportswear and tailored shirts, as well as indulgent gift items, all designed exclusively for women with a fuller bust.

To make choosing the right style and size as easy as possible, Sablier has introduced a free returns policy and unique 'Buy 2, return 1 free' scheme. Full details of the scheme and the complete Sablier range are available from http://www.sablier.com.au on 1st December 2008.
