Revenge Is… has challenged the public to "Take Back Our Country" by becoming involved in their design competition.

At least ten percent of our profits will be donated to non profit organizations working to address these social and environmental issues

Revenge Is, LLC (d.b.a. Revenge Is...) today announced the worldwide launch of their online presence and the availability of their unique socially and politically active and environmentally conscious merchandise.

Revenge Is..., an eco-clothing company based in Los Angeles, creates eco-friendly t-shirts, coffee and travel mugs and reusable and recyclable tote bags with compelling socially active, environmentally friendly and politically active statements and messages printed on them.

As part of its launch, Revenge Is... has challenged the public to "Take Back Our Country" by becoming involved in their design competition. Each winning t-shirt artist selected will have their creation produced as a limited edition of 300 pieces with their signature and will be profiled on the Revenge is... web site.

"We believe that Revenge Is... can be a powerful force in helping concerned Americans to direct their energy and emotions toward real and positive change that betters all of our lives," explained Marilyn Barrett, Founder and President of Revenge Is, LLC. In a real dollars and cents, this is done via Revenge Is… donations to non-profit organizations. "At least ten percent of our profits will be donated to non profit organizations working to address these social and environmental issues," explained Ms. Barrett.

The idea behind the design competition, explains Revenge Is... Partner and VP Business Development Sherri Akers, is that, "We want to highlight what the issues are that are concerning young people today -- we want to hear what those issues are directly from them and give them a chance to have their voice be heard in their own form of expression. Winners of the design competition will be announced in the first part of January 2009. Winning artists will have their designs sold on the Revenge Is... website in March. Each winner will be invited to participate in the process of producing their design and will also receive $250.

Revenge Is... has another unique advantage over other similar competitors because of its use and integration of recycled products - like using recycled plastic bottles that have been turned into a fine yarn and blended with organic cotton to create 65% RPET polyester/ 35% organic cotton t-shirt, all made in the USA.

These distinctive characteristics and the present state of the nation and the economy are helping to position Revenge Is... in a class by itself as it connects with people through its unique products and engaging call-to-action and it's socially conscious contributions.
