Indiana Wesleyan University Offers Major Discounts to Military and Spouses

In honor of the service that military personnel provide to our country, Dr. Henry L. Smith, President of Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU),, signed and approved on September 11, 2008 significant tuition discounts for military personnel and their spouses who enroll in IWU's LEAP program (Leadership Education for Adult Professionals).

The tuition discounts apply to all active duty military personnel, including members of Reserves, the National Guard, and their spouses. Tuition fees are discounted for both the bachelor's and master's degree programs for both onsite and online programs.

IWU designed their LEAP program 23 years ago to respond to the needs of working adults in a constantly changing workplace. Busy adults can choose to study completely online, or take classes on-site, one night a week, at any one of multiple community locations throughout Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. IWU Online offers a major advantage to military personnel who may transfer because they can continue to study wherever and whenever they are deployed.

Other advantages of the LEAP program includes the convenience of registering only once for ALL core degree programs, and that books and materials are delivered directly to students. Military personnel can choose from a wide array of degree programs including accounting, business administration, criminal justice, business information systems, marketing, management, nursing and education.

One of the fastest growing universities in the country, IWU's innovative adult education program has become a national model, with one of the highest graduation rates in the nation. The Council for Christian Colleges and Universities recently chose IWU to house the future Research Center in Adult Learning - designed to be an international clearinghouse of information and ongoing research on adult learning -- a tribute to IWU's excellent reputation.

Indiana Wesleyan University is an Evangelical Christian coeducational university, offering a blend of liberal arts and professional educational programs at the associate's, bachelor's and master's degree level. Since its founding more than a century ago as Marion Normal College, IWU has grown to become an academic structure that encompasses three colleges, including the College of Adult and Professional Studies.
