XyEnterprise, a leading developer of award-winning XML content management and multi-channel delivery solutions, today announced it has concluded a comprehensive series of briefings with key analysts who cover XML, Component Content Management (CCM), dynamic publishing, DITA, and related technologies and standards. This year's analyst briefings probed the current uncertain market conditions and the importance that companies are placing on quantifiable and sustainable ROI to demonstrate value, mitigate business risk and ensure investment preservation. XyEnterprise hosted a dozen leading industry analyst firms including analysts from IDC, Gartner, Forrester, The Burton Group, InfoTrends and AMR Research.

The briefings were well received by analysts who saw a strong fit between XyEnterprise's product innovations and current market demand. In particular, analysts were impressed with the Contenta DITA Branch/Merge capability that includes branching, compare, reuse and the management of multiple releases. The briefings were also an opportunity to spotlight ContentaView, Xy's portable XML database for intelligent content delivery, including S1000D and DITA IETMs with applicability filtering, 3D models, animations, virtual task training, enhanced incremental update functionality and IETM preview functionality for authors.

"I am impressed with XyEnterprise's commitment to standards in the creation, management and delivery of content," said Melissa Webster, program vice president, Content and Digital Media Technologies, IDC. "The company continues to demonstrate a record of meeting industry needs with consistent feature and functionality rollouts," Webster said.

Analysts were also briefed about a recently unveiled case study describing how a XyEnterprise customer recognized an unprecedented 313 percent ROI using Contenta DITA. The case study is currently available from XyEnterprise and will be featured in an upcoming webinar on Dynamic Publishing in January 2009.

"XyEnterprise offers a next-generation technology to facilitate multi-channel communications, and by tightly integrating structured multimedia with text, the ContentaView product has opened a door for innovative solutions across a gamut of verticals, notably high tech and manufacturing," said Omri Duek, senior research analyst, InfoTrends.

XyEnterprise conducts this annual briefing series to showcase new technology and review the business roadmap. While the briefing series typically takes place in the fall, XyEnterprise welcomes briefing inquiries at any time during the year.
