InventHelp®, America's largest inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Baltimore, Md., has designed a fashion accessory kit, which includes interchangeable components needed to create a personalized brooch. This invention is patented.

The "Build-A-Brooch" may be coordinated with various outfits easily. The invention may compliment other pieces of the users' outfit or parts of the body. The accessories would feature an eye-catching design and would be suitable to use by women of all ages.

"Build-A-Brooch" would be comprised of a gold or silver metal plate that would feature a magnetic center area and openings around its perimeter. An S-shaped pin would be incorporated within the back surface of the plate for attachment to the desired clothing or accessory. The unit would include several gemstones producible in various colors, each with a magnetic back surface. The gemstones would attach to the center of the plate. The removal device would consist of a cylindrical section of plastic that would feature a point on one end and a loop on the other. The unit may be personalized to suit different individual tastes. A user may attach the unit to various clothing items and accessories, such as a coat, suit, scarf, blouse, belt, pocketbook, shoes or pants. The unit may also be worn on the chest, hip, waist, ankle or shoulder area. A variation would include a back hook to allow the unit to be worn on a necklace or chain. A hair ornament variation also may be offered. The unit also may include an S-shaped hanger for placement of an additional gemstone.
