Port Chester, NY (PRWEB) December 5, 2008
USA Bank is pleased to invite the public to a special event designed to help the hungry in our community this holiday season.
On Saturday, December 13th (9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.), anyone bringing non-perishable food items to the USA Bank branch at 601 North Main Street in Port Chester will have their photo taken with Santa. For those who would like to donate food, but are unable to attend on the 13th, a drop-off box will be at the bank branch starting on December 6th.
Port Chester's Holy Rosary food bank is the beneficiary of the event. In fact, for people opening a new interest-bearing Personal Plus Checking or Freedom Savings account ($50 minimum deposit) that day, USA Bank will also make a $10.00 donation in their name to the food bank.
"As a community bank, all of our employees live in the area as well as work here," said Ronald J. Gentile, President & CEO of USA Bank. "We are committed to helping our neighbors, especially given the economic climate this holiday season."
At 11:00 a.m. that Saturday, Port Chester Mayor Dennis Pilla will be in attendance to lend his support.
Parking for Santa's visit will be provided by Café Mirage next door.
The Rain/Snow Date is December 20th.
