VC Experts, Inc. Key Investment Trends Database (http://www.pedatacenter.com) today released a report on deal term trends in Q3 2008 venture financings that took place on the East Coast. The report, utilizing data contained in the company's private deal terms database, compared Q3 2008 East Coast deals with that of Fenwick & West's recently released Fenwick & West: Trends in Terms of Venture Financings in the San Francisco Bay Area Q3 2008 . The report indicates that certain terms that are more favorable to portfolio company's, such as cumulative dividends and redemption rights, were more prominent in Q3 deals done on the East Coast rather than those done on the West Coast. Other terms were fairly even in their use.
