Amy Winehouse, Long Live Amy Winehouse, a Work of Art Created by Artist, Anne Deon

Artist Anne Deon, who during the 1980's performed with Elektra recording artist Alan Vega, and who has since devoted herself to the visual arts, has created a rare and beautiful work of art featuring Amy Winehouse.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) December 6, 2008 -- As we all know Amy Winehouse has been struggling desperately with her passions, her talents, her addictions and her need to divorce herself both emotionally and actually from, Blake Fielder Civil. It is a truly saddening spectacle to see such a beautiful and poetic spirit in such pain. Hopefully she is receiving the help she needs to overcome the demons plaguing her heart.

Artist Anne Deon, who during the 1980's performed with Elektra recording artist Alan Vega, and who has since devoted herself to the visual arts, has created a rare and beautiful work of art featuring Amy Winehouse. This painting entitled: Amy Winehouse, Long Live Amy Winehouse, is to be exhibited in downtown Los Angeles at Martha de Perez's Katalyst Foundation for the Arts at 450 S. Main Street, Los Angeles, 90013, in the heart of gallery row.

The painting, which is a large oil painting 62" x 64", can be viewed in two separate events taking place during December. On December 6th, during the block party hosted by Tom Gilmore, and on December 11th during the Downtown LA Art Walk. Tom Gilmore, real estate mogul and patron of the arts, who owns much property along S. Main Street is throwing a block party for the artists, developers, businesses, galleries and patrons of the Los Angeles art scene. The festivities will take place on Sat. Dec. 6th. The party begins at 6:00 PM and is scheduled to continue until midnight all along S. Main Street spanning from 3rd Street to 5th Streets. Many of the galleries on that street will be participating with group exhibitions.

All who are interested in viewing this magnificent painting Amy Winehouse, Long Live Amy Winehouse, created by Anne Deon, are urged to attend the party on Dec. 6th and/or the Downtown Art Walk on Thursday Dec. 11th from 6PM to 9PM.

At other times The Katalyst Foundation for the Arts is open for viewing the art by appointment only. Call: 818 439 2474
