"We are pleased to offer a grant opportunity to schools in California for a standards mastery tool to help increase student achievement," stated Schanen Mickolas, Study Island's Proposal/Bid Writer. "We realize these are challenging times, and we'd like to reward the creativity of our educators for the way they will utilize the Study Island program and motivate their students."

Ten Elementary and ten Middle Schools will be awarded $1,000.00 and $1,500.00 respectively towards the Study Island program on January 30, 2009.

Grant applications are due by January 9, 2009 and may be found via the Study Island Web site at http://www.studyisland.com/CA.
