Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) December 7, 2008
ProServeIT Corp. was recognized as a finalist in three categories at this year's Microsoft 2008 IMPACT Awards in the following categories; Advanced Infrastructure Solution of the Year, IAMCP Partner of the Year, and Small Business Specialist of the Year.
The Advanced Infrastructure Solution of the Year award recognizes technology partners with proven expertise in designing and/or implementing any or all of the complex infrastructure specializations that are part of this competency. Network infrastructures today are growing increasingly complex with the demand for Web-based applications, internal and external portals, solutions for managing large amounts of data and translating it into business intelligence, and more efficient communications both within the enterprise and from remote sites. Enterprises are looking to Microsoft-based technologies to meet these demands, and looking for technology partners with the skills and expertise to design and implement innovative, cost-effective solutions that incorporate these technologies.
Eric Sugar, ProServeIT's Vice-President of Projects said; "Growing our expertise to deliver on Microsoft's Advanced Infrastructure Solutions has been a company priority. We're very keen on building the right people in house. This gives us a huge amount of control over the quality of service we can provide and the level and consistency of our technical expertise. Our customer feedback is consistently high and I am very proud of how our team delivers Microsoft's Advanced Infrastructure solutions."
This is the first year the IAMCP Canada Partner of the Year award has been awarded. The Award recognizes the Microsoft Canada Partner who has demonstrated leadership across all four pillars of the IAMCP focus which include Partner Channel Building, Advocacy, Community/Citizenship and Education. "The IAMCP activities flow from our reseller-focused approach of providing excellent services to the resellers' clients. We strongly believe in partnering with resellers to promote Microsoft technologies and enhance Canadian organizations' competitive positions," said President Marc Dorval.
The Small Business Specialist award honors a member of the Small Business Specialist Community who demonstrates innovation for deploying a small business Microsoft-based solution (fewer than 50 employees or fewer than 25 PCs) with a tangible impact on the customer's business.
Marc Dorval had more to say about his team, "I am very pleased that our work with Microsoft and small businesses has been recognized and appreciated. Our team consistently shows creativity and commitment in helping Canadian small businesses to be competitive, and Microsoft's products support that commitment very well."
