I want to stay within toys, activities and games
Mexico, IN (PRWEB) December 7, 2008
Internet upstart http://www.KidsFurnitureLand.com has a (table) leg up on the competition with their wide array of unique and affordable kids' furniture and play sets. "I've got eight grandchildren, so I'm constantly searching for presents," said Ted Tomes of the store's origin.
Tomes is the proprietor of the site, which launched in the fall of 2008. Kids Furniture Land has recently celebrated its first year anniversary.
Though it's still a relatively fresh website, KidsFurnitureLand.com keeps up by continuing to look for high quality products.
"We're constantly making the site better," explained Tomes. "The toys and furniture we've picked out are the items that we're comfortable selling. There aren't any toys that promote violence and the furniture we have doesn't have any television characters on them. Our items are tasteful and allow the children to grow up with them, instead of having to constantly change out the dresser when a kid gets tired of that year's fad."
One notable change for the site is the launch of the sites new blog, http://www.Kids-FurnitureInfo.com.
The blog focuses on the attributes of the furniture that appears on the webstore, as well as promoting the novelty-less play sets that will help shape a child's imagination. "I want to stress to get the kids out and active and use their imagination," said Tomes. "Kids should be using their minds and not slaves to someone else's idea on TV."
Unlike many independent sites, KidsFurnitureLand.com has seasonal specials, with another sale around the corner for the holidays. While the site continues to grow, Tomes has expressed interest in starting up more sites to help kids get away from the television and look into their minds for entertainment and enjoyment.
"I want to stay within toys, activities and games," he said. "Kids can use their imagination and physically and mentally challenge themselves to create a world that TV only narrows for them."
