The Maryland Department of Labor, License and Regulation (DLLR) requires mortgage lenders and originators to complete 20 hours of approved continuing education every other year, prior to their license expiration date. It also requires applicants for a license to satisfactorily complete a 40-hour live class prior to obtaining their license.
