We are very pleased to promote Sarah to the role of national media discipline lead
New York, NY (PRWEB) December 9, 2008
Razorfish, one of the largest interactive marketing companies in the world and one of the largest buyers of digital advertising space, today announced that Sarah Baehr, VP of media, has taken on the additional position of national media discipline lead. She replaces Jeff Lanctot, who was recently named as the company's chief strategy officer.
In her expanded role, Baehr will manage the agency's media-buying and planning staff and be responsible for Razorfish's digital media spending, which totaled more than $735 million in 2007. She will lead the strategic development and implementation of media strategy for the agency's Fortune 500 clients. Baehr will also serve as the agency's primary media spokesperson on topics such as media industry trends and new Razorfish initiatives and strategies.
"We are very pleased to promote Sarah to the role of national media discipline lead," Lanctot said. "She has years of valuable, hands-on experience in this industry and, as a result, makes sound, strategic decisions. She has the keen ability to analyze and comment on our media business in the context of the larger picture, whether that's the economy or new marketing channels."
Baehr will also continue to serve on the media committee for the Advertising Women of New York (AWNY), an active affiliate of the American Advertising Federation, and participate in the group's mentoring program for young professional women.
