preserving human life on, above and below the earth.
San Carlos, Calif. (Vocus) December 9, 2008 -–
Last week, the 50 millionth worksite observation was recorded using DBO2 SafetyNet. DBO2 SafetyNet helps companies to identify, monitor and measure the leading indicators in their safety systems in order to focus resources and reduce loss in the workplace.
Over 10,000 individual observers at 200 global companies have amassed more than 50 million observations of physical conditions and human behaviors in the work place. Observations are collected in many forms including mobile devices on the RIM (BlackBerry), Windows Mobile (PocketPC) or Palm operating systems; an online interface; or paper, for entry into the SafetyNet application. Once collected, the observation information is analyzed and distributed for immediate action.
"We are honored to play a small role in the everyday mission of companies everywhere to keep their employees safe and eliminate incidents on the job," says Barry Nelson, CEO of DBO2. "Over 50 million safe and at-risk conditions and behaviors have been identified, corrected or recognized by these inspectors, preventing—by our customer records—thousands of injuries every year."
