Clifford Allen Potts, Ph.D, local Fort Worth author of "Well Past Midnight," "Radicals, Religion, and Revelation," "Conspirators, Confederates and Cronies," "Wealth, Women and War" (available through WordTechs Press) and "First Steps on the Path," enters his sixth year of web based service to the Fort Worth community.

USAFWZ (USA Free Web Zone) began as an idea to bring grass roots, working man's view of current events to people around the world. The work began on January 27, 2003 with a small, private Yahoo® group, and an audio broadcast on Live365®, in support of President Bush and the troops in Afghanistan.

Over the past six years USAFWZ has ebbed and flowed with discussions ranging from the alternative religious expressions, to the outcome of the policies of the Bush administration, to the fate of the United States.

Out of the work came the five books published by Cliff Potts. Four are published through the local Dallas publishing house, WordTechs Press under the name Clifford Allen Potts, Ph.D. The fifth, "First Steps on the Path: A Man's Field Guide to The All", written under the pen name Ollamh BrocCroman is published through Two more books are slated to come out in 2009. One concerns managing people in lean times, the other a work of poetry concerning the struggle of the spirit when faced with economic depravation. The latter is the companion piece to "Well Past Midnight."

Beginning in March of 2008, broadcasting through YouTube™ from his kitchen, Cliff Potts once again brought his charm, wit, and infectious laugh to the public. He continues to offer encouragement to people affected by the economic downturn. Drawing from his deep and wide life experience, Cliff Potts tackles the hard issues of life head on with the grit, pragmatism, and uniqueness which has driven his pen, and his word processing keys, since 2003.

The topics of discussion include Why vote Democratic in 2008, Marijuana, the Financial Institution bailout, and the Auto industry bailout.

Cliff Potts brings an eclectic background to the public forum. Cliff Potts is an ordained Baptist minister, and holds an honorary Ph.D. in Metaphysics from Universal Life Church. His accredited credentials include a Bachelor of Science from DeVry Institute of Technology (Industry, CA) in Telecommunications Management. He also holds a diploma in Radio Broadcasting from American Broadcasting School in Arlington, Texas, and is a CompTIA Certified Computer Professional.

Cliff Potts classifies himself as a die hard progressive constitutionalist pragmatist. "We have worked for the people of Texas, and the United States," Cliff Potts said, concerning the Obama win in November, "we are on the eve of victory!"

"The goals of our nation are clearly stated in the Preamble to the Constitution," says Cliff Potts. "How we get there is up to us as a nation … and it is not going to be through predatory competition in the national marketplace."

Cliff Potts, who sees assessments in public communication as a life long process, continues the work at USAFWZ with a burning passion for the ideals of the American experiment. He brings an enthusiasm for justice, domestic tranquility, the common defense, and general welfare, to his readers and viewers.

Cliff Potts, always a minimalist, added enhancements to his web site in celebration of the sixth anniversary.
