kynamatrix Research Network, a non-profit organization based in Redmond, Washington appoints Dr. Marvin Minsky to Board of Directors.
In a recent statement, the non-profit organization announced that Dr. Marvin Minsky has joined the Board of Directors. Dr. Minsky is a pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence, co-founder of MIT's AI laboratory, and Turing award winner. He is the author of a number of published works including "The Society of Mind" and "The Emotion Machine." His research has led to theoretical and practical advances in artificial intelligence and cognitive psychology.
"We are very pleased to add Dr. Minsky to our board. He brings a wealth of experience to help kynamatrix with its mission," added Alyce Hoggan, Executive Director and co-founder.
kynamatrix Research Network is a volunteer-operated 501(c)(3) nonprofit scientific research organization founded in 2004. kynamatrix is a network of researchers dedicated to the understanding and advancement of interactive communication, accelerating innovation in computer science through multidisciplinary collaboration.
