Michael Schultz Photography Announces the Release of the Photographic Book "Foundry Work: A View of the Industry"

Michael Schultz has just released a photographic book illustrating the spectacular motifs within large foundries. This 173 page book is unique in both its subject matter and its ground breaking approach to this rarely seen industry.

West Fork, AR (PRWEB) December 11, 2008 -- Michael Schultz announces the release of the photographic book, "Foundry Work: A View of the Industry." This book contains over 150 full page color images celebrating the spectacular motifs and intense work within foundries making very large castings. Images include mold work, iron and steel melting, large, spectacular casting pours, and finishing work. The book can be obtained by visiting www.michaelschultzphotography.com.

This book is the culmination of a multi-year project to honor an often overlooked, yet essential, industrial process. Raymond Monroe, Exec. V.P. of the Steel Founders Society of America, has written the forward to the book. Mr. Monroe states, " No one has before produced a volume of casting images so creative and vivid as this."

"Foundry Work" is available as a soft or a hard bound edition. The hard bound book is a very limited edition in a clam shelled cased, and is signed and numbered.

Michael Schultz's images are in private, public, and corporate collections. Among these are the N.C. Museum of Art, The St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Art, Florida, and the Federal Reserve Bank, Charlotte, NC.

Michael Schultz's professional and fine art images can be seen at his website.
