London, UK (PRWEB) December 12, 2008 -- For the second year running The Outward Bound Trust (with HRH Duke of York as its Chairman) will receive the support of the internationally acclaimed motoryacht company Sunseeker International at a star studded charity ball on the 9th January 2009 at the Battersea Evolution in London.

Robin Gibb CBE, who has recently become the first official celebrity ambassador for the Trust (http://www.outwardbound.org.uk), is hosting a party in the new year and to ensure that this is a night to remember he has invited a number of his friends including former Rolling Stone bass guitarist Bill Wyman and his band The Rhythm Kings (the house band for the evening), legendary Lulu, Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm, soul diva Beverley Knight, Georgie Fame, Mark King from Level 42, Drummer Kenney Jones from The Who and The Small Faces, Paolo Nutini, Atomic Kitten's Natasha Hamilton and Russia's number one pop superstar Valeriya, to entertain the VIP guests. The performing artists are all giving up their time for free and will provide a very special night of live entertainment for everyone, as well as celebrity and business guests with a celebration of The Bee Gees hit music.

Last year's event raised in excess of £350,000 on the night with special packages and luxurious auction items as well as an amazing raffle. All items were donated by companies from the UK and overseas to help raise funds for the young people.
