Welcome Jardins de Carthage with the Tunisian American Chamber of Commerce at the Fancy Food Show in San Francisco

Jardins de Carthage-- a Tunisian- French company that is a trademark of the Sun Antipasti line of products--will be attending the 34th Fancy Food Show in San Francisco on January 18-20, 2009 with the Tunisian American Chamber of Commerce in Booth #3230.

Johnson City, TN (PRWEB) December 14, 2008 -- Located in Mornag, Tunisia, Jardins de Carthage is a business interested in introducing traditional flavors and seasonings of the Mediterranean region to the world using Tunisian and Italian recipes. Honoring traditional methods of preparing and packaging their products, Jardins de Carthage offers a variety of classical vegetables in an array of flavors, from spicy to milder tastes. Their product line includes sweet or spicy mechouia salads (a Tunsian signature classic!), spicy harissa, ratatouille, sun-dried tomatoes, pimento w/cayenne, pickled peppers, olive oil, and artichoke hearts.

Jardins de Carthage is one of five companies participating in 'The Taste of Tunisia', a program of the Tunisian American Chamber of Commerce (TACC) introducing regional taste of the countryside to the US specialty foods market. The program is aimed at targeting markets with special interests within the food industry.

"Whether you have an adventurous palate or prefer milder flavors, we have something for everyone," says Managing Director Armand Fidenzio. "It is a way for shoppers to experience other cultures in the convenience of their own home. We are excited to bring these unique flavors to the world."

Sun Antipasti has a full line of goods under the trademark Jardins de Carthage, a Tunisian-French alliance which produces a variety of products containing vegetables inspired by the typical Tunisian recipe such as Mechouia salad (roasted sweet peppers marinated in olive oil), Harissa (hot red peppers dried in the sun which are grinded and mixed with local spices) or tomatoes dried in the sun marinated in olive oil, the caviar of dried tomatoes.
