Based on the success of "Martians Incorporated" on stage, in personal appearances, and on the internet, the highly anticipated TV series is about ZrBy, Captain of a Martian spaceship and her crew who while on a routine patrol get sucked into a wormhole and temporarily find themselves stranded on Earth sometime in their future.
Being Martians, the media rush all available paparazzi to cover their arrival--but instead of conquering the planet with ray guns, the Martians make a CD which becomes an overnight hit and the group becomes the most sought after intergalactic musical phenomenon in the universe. Without passports, birth certificates or other proof that they actually are Martians, Earthlings believe all this Martian business is really a publicity stunt to promote their CD.
So they remain stranded on Earth with little hope of returning home. Maybe they can find a way back through time and the wormhole? Maybe they'll be a positive influence on our younger generation while they're here? Maybe the adventures of this wholesome group with funny names and high moral standards, socially responsible behavior, and proper etiquette and manners will ??? (to be continued in the series).
"Kids will love these cool Martians," said Krieff who partnered with Robbins on a number of broadcast and pay-for TV projects including the TV movie "Ice Angel".
"Mighty Martians" will be a unique, highly stylized 3d action series with a stunning visual look that will be embraced by kids everywhere," he continued.
"Mighty Martians" will become a staple on TV," said Robbins, who has been a leader in live-action single-camera series specializing in kid, teen and young adult programming, and an executive producer/creator of more than 17 series, which include some of the biggest hits on cable, syndication and network. "We have brought together a team that includes award winning writers, graphic artists, musicians and sound designers (not to mention some very talented Martians) and the creative staff of Martians Incorporated," Robbins emphasized! Current negotiations with internationally prominent animation studios in relation to joint-ventures and co-production agreements.
