Lewis, has been appointed to the role of vice president of integrated sales, a newly created position. Most recently CMO of VIBE Media, Lewis brings more than 15 years of experience to the position, where he will be in charge of sales, marketing, internal leadership of the sales team and top-line growth objectives for MEDIA and its properties.

Lewis comes to MEDIA from VIBE Media Group, Inc. where he served as chief marketing officer. Responsible for the marketing group and digital team, Lewis led the negotiation of content, marketing, revenue share and digital agreements between VIBE and Viacom for the 2007 VIBE Awards hosted on VH1/VH1 Soul. Notably, this helped expand VIBE's footprint and reach in the urban market, as well as deepened VH1's impression on the urban market through text messaging, print advertising and web presence. While at VIBE, Lewis also launched the highly successful Vibe Verses platform, a web-based hip-hop battle sponsored by AT&T.
Prior to VIBE, Lewis served as the director of corporate sponsorships at Essence Magazine, part of the Time Warner family of companies. In this role, Lewis was recognized for his work in sponsorship negotiations for the Essence Music Festival, which realized a record $100 million-plus economic stimulus impact on the city of New Orleans. Lewis is also credited with the initiation of an American Red Cross partnership that drove community crisis support for New Orleans over the course of the 2005 festival.
Lewis was also vice president of marketing at the Vanguard Media Group and an events manager for the National Football League.
